You can see the partition on disk 1 is labeled ' System, Active, Primary Partition', so it is not allowed to be deleted or formatted in Windows 7/8/10. Therefore, if you want to delete your system partition, Windows Disk Management will fail to do this work. In addition, the partition which holds the boot sector must be set active, otherwise, your computer is unbootable.
